Software Developer

Hey there! 💬

I'm an independent software developer who loves making apps and games.

My roots 🌱

I said hello to the world of programming at the age of 10. Inspired by the back then popular Flash games all over the internet, I started browsing different forums and YouTube videos to self teach me how to code in AS3. A few years later, I fell in love with the innovative way of building code in CFusion 2.5, a cross-platform software development engine and IDE that pioneered visual scripting (dating all the way back to 1994!).

I’m apart of the generation inspired by the work of Scott Cawthon (the CF2.5 developer responsible for the groundbreaking Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise), posting my very first Flash and Windows projects on GameJolt and Newgrounds, two internet-legendary websites known for being the starting point of several developers.

Professional career 🛠️

My career started picking up with the release of Gorillaz Pac-Man, a 2020 Android & Windows game based on the concept showcased in the homonymous Gorillaz song music video. The project has had gained a lot of traction, spreading all over social media making it to huge fanpages and news portals. However, despite Gorillaz having allowed its release, BANDAI Namco (PAC-MAN IP holders) didn’t agree to it and the project had to be taken down shortly after.

The things I’ve achieved and learned during this experience, though, made me realize I could take independent software development more seriously. This was a life-changing twist of perspective.

Not long after Gorillaz Pac-Man takedown, I released what would eventually become UNDERTALE Create!, a much initially smaller project called “UNDERTALE Dialog Creator”. Along with a budget free, effective social media-based marketing strategy, it began to grow hundreds of installs per day. As it gradually grew a larger audience, I decided the project should scale as well. That’s how UNDERTALE Create! was born as a concept. A multi-purpose, powerful creation environment for UNDERTALE fans to bring their ideas to life. Releasing on September 8th, 2021 as an update to its predecessor, the now rebranded app gathered over a thousand installs that single day.

As of today, UNDERTALE Create! has become one of the most popular UNDERTALE apps on Play Store with over a hundred thousand installs, outstanding ratings, viral videos made with it, and a wonderful userbase.

I have also developed utility apps. One of them being AESPAD, a private notepad that secures and encrypts your notes. This prevents viruses, hackers or any intruders in your device from accessing them. It uses military grade 256-bit AES encryption, the most powerful encryption standard in the industry. Features include fingerprint login, 256-bits AES encryption, fully customizable RGB UI, dark mode, anti brute-force, autosave, autolock and more.

AESPAD was a smaller side project, whose purpose was to improve my programming skills. I strongly believe the best way to learn is by taking on projects that you find challenging. This way you’ll force your knowledge to expand, and will always learn something new. No exceptions.

This is a strong basis in my life philosophy.

Technologies 🌐

I am proficient in the Android platform. Android Studio, Android SDK, Java & JDK, Gradle build tool and Google Play libraries are technologies I work with.

As a software developer I’m used to working with code architecture, data structures, encryption systems, network programming, databases, APIs, app design, project management, libraries implementation, cross-platform, and learning new things everyday.

I have also worked with web technologies, mainly developing embed web applications such as small web tools and games. HTML5, JavaScript, WordPress, Flash, ActionScript 3 and Elementor are apart of my skillset.

7+ years of experience in CFusion 2.5, a powerful, cross-platform software & 2D game development engine.

Currently working with PHP and MySQL to set up a built-in data exchange network for an upcoming project.
